Paris Aquarium

This is the "petting tank". The only tank where kids - and grown ups! - are allowed to actually play with the fish.

This is an arch of water that you walk through at the entrance. Quite impressive.

There are eggs. If you look carefully there are little fish in each of them (especially in the right one).

This one is the largest tank

Festival de Romans

So... This festival took place in Romans (Romans is the name of a town in the south east of France, one hour away from the Alps). The idea was to allow all Internet creators to show their work and to be judged by a jury. It lasted 3 days (from Thursday to Saturday evening) and was a good opportunity to meet other fellow bloggers, journalists and to participate in the many round tables on various topics.

There were 10 categories (literature, video, comedy, photo...) and in each category 3 sites were supposed to receive a price. On Saturday evening they announced the results. I know it sounds stupid because it's only the first edition of a festival that is not yet very famous, but I was really tense when they started the photo category.
The president of the jury announced right away that due to the poor quality of the finalists they would only be two prices... Then, fortunately, they called my name right away - for the second prize! The first prize went to this talented young lady. I really don't understand why they did not pick up a 3rd price; I'm sure the jury forgot that most of the participants are not professionals.

Of course I would have liked to win the 1st prize, but that is part of the game. It's good to be judged by people who don't know you and are not biased.

Anyway, once again I would like to thank you very much for your support, your votes, etc. It meant a LOT to me. I love you all!

PS: this photo was taken by Christophe Grebert from Mon Puteaux, if you want to see more, check his flickr. And if you want to see the final results in all categories, go here.
