I know, aren't they wicked? I bumped into the Calvary one November 11th on the champs-elysees coming out of the metro. I was going to a museum and I forgot it was a holiday. They were so imposing, trotting down the avenue, some playing musical instruments... It was awe-inspiring.
Like dsole, Louis la Vache likes the first and third photos. Louis agrees with you that the first one, with the play between the plume on the helmet and the dome of Invalides makes for a very nice composition.
