Good fun! But rowing with the barges around would be pretty scary. Did they stop commercial traffic on the Seine during the race, or were 'peniches' and 'bateaux mouches' part of the obstacle race???
Indeed the first two and the last four photos do not download.
Ditto on the last 4 pictures, but you know it was near impossible to load your blog today from here, so maybe it's one of these problems that will solve itself without your doing anything?
Is that a very good zoom or are you really, really close? On the first shot (on the DP blog) it looked like you're sitting on the Seine, too!

The rowers must feel very proud to have been amongst the few who have ever done this in recent years. The water looks very cold !!
