Awesome! Thank you for bring these shots, they're really awesome. I do love the close up of all the shoes, for some reason. Really funny and cool shot. Thanks, Eric! :-)

What a wide range of shots you took. You must have done more than "attennd" to get them from so many angles!

Tomate Farcie a dit…

Well, Michael, you're right, he must have, because look at the number of different locations you can see. First you have them by what looks like the Conciergerie, along the Quais de la Seine, euh.. at some point you can see the Grand Palais, eventually you see the Obelisque de la Place de la Concorde, et finalement les Champs Elysees et l'Arc de Triomphe.

The participants look like they've really been training for this. They're in really good shape (even the picture of the aerodynamic-shaped wheelchair suggests fast movement) and they have good shoes!

WOW!!!! The pictures taken in Champs Elysées are very impressive. What a crowd! It must be a special feeling to be in the " midle" of it. All the photos are fantastic Eric, congratulations!!!

So, Eric, you were among all those people doing the "marathon à metro?" What I mean is were you among the crowds on the metro chasing the marathoners from place to place?

Unknown a dit…

amazing! but even more interesting is how few women you see in the photos!

you are such an artist :)

Great photos, Eric. In addition to the excellent views of Paris you got one of the Oom-pah bands! That's the biggest difference between Boston and Paris that I noticed when I saw my 1st Paris marathon last yeat. Can't wait to read l'Expansion article.

You took great shots. I love the way you vary the angles so much. How do you get the ground level ones- if you have bad knees?!
Thanks so much

Thanks for the excellent photos of the Paris marathon. This was my first marathon and you have really captured the 'feeling' of the event. Thanks

Eric - these are great shots. I've been heckling my sister to agree to run this race with me one day. Your amazing photos convinced me that I had better start planning, with or without her! Thanks for inspiring me with your wonderful photos and now this new incentive to keep running!
