I wonder how it was mounted. It's incredible!

Ah, a stone fit for Liberace...or Elton John.

It looks like a big piece of blueberry jello! I wonder what the total weight is?

I does look like a Jello Jiggler...
Too funny.

If he knew how famous those fingers would be I'll bet that guy would have used scissors instead of wrestling those hangnails off with his teeth.

And to think I could have bought a sapphire much like this for just a few baht in Thailand. Ha ha.

I was just looking back over earlier June posts. No wonder we all enjoy PDP. What a life Eric lives. What a city.

Well gee, I wouldn't call it obscene...if it were mine...

Oh my goodness, that's humongous! Although, yeah, it does look like a piece of blueberry jello. ;-)

Angele a dit…

Ok I do not know if I am more impressed by the size of the stone or... by the OMG so hairy hands :D
Sorry I had to tell what came into my mind. :)
Maintenant je sors.

Well, I agree with Angele and Tall Gary! Anybody handling that kind of stone should get a proper manicure! ;) If you hadn't said anything, I too, would have thought that was a piece of jello. I visited a DeBeers facility in Holland and they showed us some pieces, but nothing quite like this. The size is really impressive.

It is beautiful! Sapphires are my favorite, but that one is just a bit to gaudy for me! That Louis obviously loved to be looked at! hahaha

It does look like a jello shot. If I owned it I would put it on display under a good light. I love jewels. My dream is to be locked in the Tower of London for a couple of hours with access to the crown jewels.
